I always feel weird giving someone a bunch of people to follow, but if there aren't a lot of replies with suggestions already I'll toss some out if I have time. And I realize my method of doing this is maybe not the best and I should be more organized...

I mostly gather them on the spot by skimming my timeline to remember who posts what. And I focus on accounts that have a decent number of followers, but not too many, since I don't want someone I like to interact with who only has a few followers to get randomly inundated if a list grows some legs, but really big accounts get boosted into everyone's feed unless you block them.

Does anyone have a better system? Do you have some pre-made lists for certain topics?

ETA: I also like to make the list without tagging the people, since tagging someone into that sort of list seems rude? It's different than tagging someone into a conversation for expert advice among friends or something.
