This rant brought to you courtesy of the first episode of Man on the Inside. I love Mike Schur, but those were some truly epic “relating to teens as real people” fails. The teens were props instead of characters, and the show was all “Har har, isn’t it hard to parent teens??” For a showrunner who’s usually great at portraying humanity, it wasn’t a stellar showing
