I’m willing to suit up for lots of cash to work a hose. My certs are out of date and probably invalid in CA but if someone has a spare fire truck and equipment and a private jet to get me there I’m willing to take the week off
Tbh the equipment is the bottleneck. Firefighting itself is pretty straightforward if you are doing exterior protection rather than interior firefighting

In response to this post@Leyonhjelm @sun Might be worth considering how to squeeze cash out of rich people with your knowledge and skill set as this is just gonna get more and more common. You might even be able to make enough to only have to work the fire seasons and travel for some weeks at a time.
