The saddest part is that the same person is now advertising this coin which made them poor to all their followers, in the hopes that those followers buy it, have it then increase in value again, so he can sell all his assets and hence leave his followers holding the bag.
The main thing these cryptocurrencies do is create a financial incentive to lure more people into being scammed by them. Once you understand this dynamic, you understand why they turn someone into the most insufferable person known to man.
