Stuff I did the last two years in this area:
1. Retrofitted vents with intumescent vents and fine mesh
2. Had the roofers go through and fix and resecure EVERYTHING a few months ago in case of high winds
3. Bolstered power backup capability
Of course, none of that is useful in a apocalyptic firestorm, but you do what you can do. Gassed up the vehicle and it's still packed from last week.

@ai6yr There is a FAA VOR above Point Mugu that has suffered fire damage multiple times. Given some headaches I had involving old VTU (Ventura) VOR back in the day, I wonder if it will get ripped out again… The VOR is (was?) part of departure routing to the north, or west, from LAX. 34.1150647/-119.0494986
