Not only was the Tories Rwanda migrant removal programme a brutal & callous attack on vulnerable people, it was also a monumental waste of money.... this we knew, but its worth being reminded of the extent of the waste entailed by Pritti Patel when she by-passed normal ministerial processes to give it the go-ahead.
The Tories really were/are the Nasty Party... but the problem will be how soon the electorate forget (or perhaps didn't care in the first place).

Yes, I think that's clear - and for them its not so much a waste of money, as the cost of political obstruction....
