Ah, yes, the era of just say any old shit to get headlines in the UK is over.

Meanwhile, we're now in the era of tell us all the things we don't want to hear, and none of the ones we do. To Labour's credit, they do tend to stick to something vaguely resembling the truth.

And, oddly enough, many people prefer the prior.
