What a start to 2025!
I co-hosted a kink meetup at a fairly new gay bar. They'd previously had some kink nights with mild success. I spread the word among friends through various spaces - Fetlife, telegram - and communities - rope, wax, cigar, a black kink meetup. The result was a packed venue that was at or near capacity for a solid 2-3 hours. I was struck by the sheer diversity we had amassed - age, race, gender identity, kink interests. What really got me was the stories people told me (1/3)

The straight white dude who thought he'd never be caught in a gay bar. The polycule who could finally display affection comfortably in a public space. The people who were always curious about pup play, rope, wax, etc but never knew how to start.
