Article on Edgar McGregor stepping up during the Eaton Fire. He hasn't made it to Mastodon (or Blue Sky) yet, we used to chat a lot. Looks like he moved his efforts from Twitter to Facebook and really helped out his local neighborhood. Glad Edgar was able to make this happen.

In response to this post@ai6yr Reminds me of what a housemate of mine did when I was working in Boston. Her childhood home and neighbourhood was affected by a tornado. She coded up a toolset to help coordinate recovery and deal with the logistics.
