@JessTheUnstill @anneapplebaum just seems like an important difference to keep track of, and the article simply lists a few people who were once perceived as liberal before they went fascist. That fascists have various flavors and factions does not suggest to me that the difference between those who want to shrink democracy and those who want to expand it is one we should forget.
