@rustoleumlove @vees So, in the old Twitter, the vast majority of users are only readers... only a small number of people (proportionally) post on any social platform. Thus, the frequent posters (ie, me at the time) had outsided influence on things (and that's why X is such a trash fire now... the frequent posters include quite a few far right/outright Nazis/racists/conspiracy theorists/etc., and the non-poisonous accounts have been muted). I had about 70K followers on Twitter before I extracted myself, and that meant I had a very big outsized influence on the discourse (before Elon)--and I was only a small account compared to the big influencers. =
