Jason Towse, head of Mitie's corporate security business says:
'Private security & business play a huge part in the Labour government’s commitment to taking back the streets. It’s just a case of everybody continuing to collaborate and accepting that another service may [perform some police duties]'.
So, how far will Yvette Cooper go in further integrating private security into the police services' functions?
And more importantly what powers will private contractors have?
