The Euro has backed off a little on its historic cold outbreak week after next. Yesterday, it was showing an incredible -64 F degree temp anomaly in KS/MO at one point, literally off the charts. That would be a low of -34 F, close to the state records of -40. However... (1/2)

In response to this post...as with the last historic cold outbreak the Euro predicted, it has modified, with ast night's run -53 F anomaly with -24 F in that area.
Still extreme with anomalies of -40 in almost every state in the east, but not likely state-record-breaking. We'll see if today's run moderates the outbreak even more.
