But you know who else is bitter about not being iconoclastic, counter-culture, politically-correct enough? A whole bunch of folks who look a lot like me. Some of them even went to DC and smashed fire extinguishers in the face of the thin blue line, because their country is being “stolen” from them.
Hell yes, I’d rather be silently suspected a fool than open my mouth and give these folks credibility.

I’m tired of writing without any feedback cycle to improve. I’m tired of possibly useful work hidden because of assholes on the internet.
But if and when I say something unpleasant or wrong, please say something. No promises I won’t be defensive at first, but I’ll appreciate it later.
This isn’t a New Year’s resolution. I’m not going to win it. It’s an infinite game and I’m just committing to play more.
