In response to this post@ai6yr Did you inherit it from someone in your family? Mine probably belonged to my great aunt's grandparents.
@geschichtenundmeer I bartered it with a friend, who inherited it from a grandparent, and he claimed it was from a great grandparent! Kind of cool to gave stuff that works like that. I have a hand saw from the 1840's I have sharpened, and I always think about the history of the tool when I use it.
