The weather radar is showing heavy smoke being produced by the Eaton fire.

If you zoom in on the Palisades fire you see a good example of how the satellite heat detection data can sometimes be false positive since the map shows heat detections over the ocean.

The fire camera layer (brown arrowhead) is ‘on top’ and can be clicked. Follow the first link for the camera view.
