They are the 2025 European Capitals of Culture!

As we celebrate 40 years of the European Capitals of Culture programme, this initiative continues to support a year-long celebration of art and culture in cities across 🇪🇺.

Since 1985, the programme has recognised cities for creating cultural programmes that not only benefit local residents but also promote cultural diversity and cooperation.
