@MostlyHarmless I am completely without hope. The people in charge did such a bad job, because they are neoliberal capitalist shitpieces, that everyone is voting for paleoconservative capitalist shitpieces to teach them a lesson. It's bad now, and it gets to get worse.

It's like we're about to vote out the chlorine gas in our trench by voting in mustard gas. We could vote to have clean air, mind you, to breathe, but there's no party really offering that.
