Some of you may only use Mastodon on mobile devices, but there is an option that, as far as I know, can only be enabled on the website. I am writing about new post notifications. You need to go to the profile of the person you are following and click on the bell marked with an arrow. You will then get notified when new posts appear.
I have this turned on for all the people I follow, so I don't miss anything!
