Fun* story, when I was doing a tertiary course at a technical college after finishing high school, there was a module on Windows NT 4 networking, which used the training material from a MCSE course. First, make sure your network adapter appears in the control panel. Next, double-click the network adapter. In the list of protocols, delete TCP/IP and IPX/SPX, and make sure NetBEUI is the only protocol in the list. 🤨
