I'm writing this post for people who know me as David. You may have stumbled upon this or I might even have sent you here. Either way, that's cool: I don't want my gender to be a secret, but sometimes it's hard to find the right way to tell people.
In short: I'm a man a lot of the time, and I enjoy being a man. But: I'm not always a man. I also enjoy being a woman a lot. In this way I consider myself to always be #transgender, #nonbinary and #bigender.
I may only interact with you as David, and when I'm doing so you should he/him pronouns. But I want you to know that's not all of me.
And if I am interacting with you as Davie, in person, or here, I expect you to use she/her pronouns.
If you want to talk about this, I'm open to do so. If it seems awkward, just say you saw my profile on mastodon or ask me about whatever pride or gender pin I'm probably wearing. Or join mastodon and say hi!
