my daughter asked me this morning "can i ask you something? are you done training to be a grown up? like... are you done learning to be nice and not a little mean?" because my practice has been paying off well and i've been taking care of myself and maintaining my attitude ans behavior better. so i talked to her about how im trying hard and feel like im doing better but just like she has bad days and good days i will too, and im still learning and training but i think the more i do the more good days ill have more often.

being a parent is so fucking hard.
