"A wind advisory indicating extreme fire conditions is forecast in Los Angeles, Ventura and San Diego counties tonight through Wednesday, January 8. Damaging wind gusts of 80–100 mph, in combination with low humidity and dry vegetation, have the potential to cause rapidly spreading wildfires.

A total of 65 fire engines, eight water tenders, eight helicopters, 9 dozers have been proactively placed across seven counties. The deployment also includes more than 100 specialized personnel including hand crews, dispatchers and Incident Management Team (IMT) members. "
