Our patrol leader was a short-order cook at the family's restaurant. (Don't tell OSHA about U18 kitchen work in 1970s!)
His bivouc tool-roll had his favorite chef knife.
His icebox cooler had sirloin tips looted from the restaurant walkin.
The adult leaders chose to dine with us for some reason.
