@ai6yr Setting aside whether any utility is responsible, I keep thinking about whether this is going to seriously elevate the insurance industry crisis. The average value of lost houses are really big in those areas, and the cancellation of policies just before the fire will likely result in very large class actions, with a number of pretty wealthy clients in the classes. It will take years to iron out, and in the meantime little to no action to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
