As an auDHD person with ME, I no longer beat myself up for zoning out in the car for ages after I grocery shop. It was a profoundly exhausting undertaking, even before I had ME. Sometimes you need a little bit before you can do the next bit. I don't know why I used to beat myself up over that.
Heck, maybe I'll take a nap.
